Why I built Clubinity

I'm Jamie: a part-time tennis and squash player, and a full-time software engineer.

My story

I saw first-hand my own club struggling with court bookings and membership cycles. It was costing the club thousands in lost revenue every year. Volunteers were spending hundreds of hours triple-checking bugs in the system. New and long-standing members were both frustrated. Worst of all, we were paying a premium for software that was making everything harder.

As someone who is comfortable with technology, and newly on the club committee, I started searching for a better solution. But time and again, I would look under the bonnet of software that promised the earth and find more headaches waiting to happen. I even phoned other local clubs to ask what they were using, and heard the same story everywhere.

At that point I knew this was not just our problem. It was an industry problem. I was not willing to put my club through another broken platform, so I made a decision: I would build something that actually works for racket clubs.

It worked. Before long, I had solved the issues that were keeping our club up at night. Then I thought about all the other clubs dealing with exactly the same pain. That is why I now offer Clubinity: practical software designed to help clubs run smoothly, protect revenue, and give members a better day-to-day experience.

If this sounds familiar, let's talk.

I am happy to walk you through how Clubinity can support your club.
